loom knitting patterns

Knitting is worked in rounds (the equivalent of rows in flat knitting) in a spiral. I hope you will follow my knitting instructions.

Various tools have been developed to make hand-knitting easier. The great thing about making a knit baby blanket is that it can be made in any color to fit the color scheme of the baby's room. Animals fibers include silk, but generally are long hairs of animals such as sheep (wool), goat (angora, or cashmere goat), rabbit (angora), llama, alpaca, dog, camel, yak, and muskox (qiviut).

These yarns can be used in the sock-knitting machine. This is used to great effect in lace knitting, which consists of making patterns and pictures using such holes, rather than with the stitches themselves. This is the first row from your knitting instructions.

You'll be amazed at how much faster the second, third, and fourth version of the same pattern can be. To do a yarn-over after a knit stitch, just bring your yarn across your work from the back to the front.
